Watering!

Can i water using a bucket full of mixture directly over the top,as if i was watering a potted plant outside.

In other words no resivor,just a pot with a plant in it?

You sure can! This is called a passive system; just be sure there is a way for the water to drain out of the bottom of the container then reuse it.
