Nutrients Needed for Rice Plants
by: Larry, Webmaster

The important nutrients needed for rice plants are Nitrogen, Potassium, Phosphorus and Zinc.

First of all, growing rice hydroponically can be the basis for a really good study because a growing medium without any nutrients at all can be chosen so nutrients you apply can be measured precisely.

As for the scientific specifics concerning rice plant nutrients, I am not a scientist so cannot really comment but I did find a site talking about the nutrients needed for rice grown in California, USA.

Here it is: www.plantsciences.ucdavis.edu/uccerice/PRODUCT/rpic04.htm
