Shallow Water Culture
by: Larry

The shallow water culture method of hydroponics is a passive system in that plants are typically anchored on a float of some kind in a pool of nutrient solution.

With roots hanging in the water are you saying that the plant leaves are dry and brittle?

I would first and foremost make sure the roots are actually dangling in the nutrient solution then I would install an aquarium type air pump to oxygenate the water.
