Have you ever built an NFT design system? I can't imagine they would be that hard to build. Do you have any plans?

Building an NFT System
by: Larry, Webmaster

I have never built an NFT hydroponic system although I have researched it. It does not look that hard to build.

I see it as several 3 foot pvc tubes - 4 inch diameter, capped on both ends and all connected by tubes.

There should be a water input tube on the top pipe and an outlet tube on the bottom tube.

I would drill holes along each tube spaced at least 6 inches apart and large enough to hold a plastic 16 oz cup suspended in the tube. The cup is filled with a growing medium to anchor the plant.

I have not yet figured out how to suspend the tubes without having a large, cumbersome framework but I will work on it.

I hope to have a model up and running soon...
