how do i build a small hydrophonic system

I barely have a garden. I need to build at least a 1 meter x 1 meter system to plant herbs, lettuce etc. how do i go about it?

First, build your own because it's cheaper. Get 2 plastic tubs, hoses, a pump and a timer if you have access to electricity.

If you do not I'd suggest the Mittleider approach described on this site.
