I don't really wanna buy a timer I'd rather turn the pump on or off myself but how long should the water be running and how long should it be off?

Pump Timing
by: Larry

I would turn it on for 30 minutes, off for 2 hours, on 30 minutes...in a continuous cycle.

Depending on the humidity and direct sun you may need to adjust this timing. The growing medium or substrate should still be slightly damp when the pump is turned on after the 2 hours off.
