First time grower and I need info please

I want to build a hydroponics system but I don't know what to buy, what kind of nutrients, what kind of pumps and other stuff and how often do you give the nutrients, I am totally clueless and I need your step by step instructions on everything.

I am wanting to use maybe a big mop bucket for growth of one big plant growing it from a seed. Thank You.

Being a first time grower I really suggest you take the time to study this entire website and learn about nutrients, pumps and various hydroponic systems. Everything you need is in this site.

When you do decide to construct a system, the mop bucket container system you mention would work just fine and you could use hydroton or pea stone for a growing medium. I prefer pea stone myself because it is cheap but its drawback is a heavy weight.

Get yourself a hydroponics fertilizer and you are all set. Growing plants hydroponically is not very hard once you learn the basics.
