Phosphate Substitute

First of all I must stress that I am not a chemist but whether you use monopotassium phosphate (MKP) or monocalcium phosphate (MCP) you primarily want phosphate in a form usuable by plants. MKP provides slightly more usuable phosphate by weight than MCP but not enough to be concerned with.

MKP also contains Potassium which you already use but lacks the calcium of MCP. So to substitute MKP for MCP you would have to lower the amount of potassium you add and you would need to increase the amount of calcium. As for what specific measurements to use, that would take someone with chemical experience. You could try sample mixtures on a small number of plants and chart growth rate...
